>>justine: we have a developing story. stocks are sliding despite a purse in hiring for december. the labor department put out new figures this morning that shows about 8.5%, that is the new unemployment rate. the economy added to 1000 jobs for the month of december. this is the best news we have had for the past three years since february of 2009 for the unemployment rate. despite the positive economic news, stocks are down 73 points.
the snb is also down and the nasdaq is down. more on this developing story right here on kron4. >>james: two-man are in custody after shots were fired from a building in the summer district. police are brandishing heavy firepower. the shots rang out at around 11:00 p.m. last night. phone calls started coming in it to 911. police arrived on the scene and they heard gunfire. there were not sure where it does coming from the the new was at the intersection of ninth street and clients. fan may ultimately identified to people in a building at the intersection. those two people jumped rooftop to rooftop, almost half the length of the block and he

the screen is the westbound commute. the golden gate bridge ride is a good trip. there was a report of a box truck traveling northbound might have struck one of the ceiling walls inside of the tunnel. it does not appear to be accounting for any delay to traffic. looking at the traffic maps in the east bay, a little slow in on 80 and out of orinda for the westbound ride to the caldecott tunnel. much better than usual. here, we mentioned that much of the slower traffic is on 85 northbound fleeting thought towards cupertino. the speeds have dropped to 9 mi. per hour. it is mostly around the tv into change. that is where you expect to see if the slowest period were 85 minutes 101, he will be delayed their as well. 101 through marin county is an easy drive. the drive

roadway, you want to bundle up. we are still seen temperatures below freezing perianth napa is now up to 38. 36 for those of you in no lotto and 50 degrees for half moon bay 342 for those of you in redwood city. into the afternoon, we expect a mixture of '50s and '60s with mostly sunny conditions. we will have clouds out there, it looks like monday could be one of the warmer spots at 63. marin county will stay in the low 60s. third 59 on tap for downtown san francisco. satellite and radar shows high pressure not situated over the bay area to. it will remain that way for the next several days. it is actually guiding the storm track will to the north. we will continue to be mild and dry with temperatures in the '60s. nothing but sunshine as we head into the weekend
